The hotel is conveniently close to Busch Gardens and Historic Williamsburg, making it a great choice for visitors seeking easy access to local attractions. While the rooms had a musky smell and were a bit worn, the location and cleanliness make up for it.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were mostly clean and comfortable, but there was an issue with a sewer gas smell near the bathrooms, both in my room and in the public restrooms throughout the hotel. The staff was very helpful and professional, which enhanced my stay. The location was great, especially for access to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. However, the dining was disappointing, with overpriced food that didn't meet expectations.
The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were not so great, being old, unclean, and far from the lobby; however, the staff was incredibly sympathetic and helpful. The location was convenient for visiting nearby destinations, but the dining experience left much to be desired.
